The Gallery – April ; the waiting game.
May 4th, 2011 § 6 Comments
This weeks theme for The Gallery is April.
For us April has been a month of waiting. Waiting patiently for my little veg to grow and already seeing results. My first cauliflower!
also the runner beans are starting to flower;
and more….
the lupins are loking pretty too!
It has also been a very long waiting game for my neighbours sheep (they have a little paddock behind their garden with “Mummy Sheep” and “Daddy Sheep”). We have been awaiting eagerly the arrival of Mummy Sheep’s new baby (s). Every other day at least we visit but still no lambs.
This is her yesterday, so fed up with the wait. Poor Mummy Sheep.
She had retired indoors she was so fed up (I bet she wanted to get away from Daddy Sheep!) Many overdure Mothers will feel your pain!

I got quite excited to see the first signs of my spring onions (I am a little behind!) x
Ah we are both on the same wavelength!!! I love seeing things grow, esp asparagus!
I hope your sheepish neighbour will be relieved soon.
Love the picture of the sheep – award-winning image that you could sell to a greeting card company. I have a cat in the same state.
Lovely nature in progress in your other images too.
My try is over at http://gigglingatitall.blogspot.com
Have my first caulies in the ground now – if I actually get vegetables from them that look like that, I will be beside myself. I hardly believe such an improbable veg can grow!
Love it. Great post! Feel free to check out mine!
Now I want to grow cauliflower. So cute!
